This was my first tat. I've wanted a tattoo ever since my brother came home from Medford with a small tattoo of the laugh now cry later theatre masks when I was 16. So I had to decide what i would get. I decided to get the cross first because I wanted my first tattoo to represent my faith. I put it over my heart to represent Christ's control over it.
I wanted something special for the right side of my chest. So I decided I had to choose someone who holds a very special place in my heart along with Christ. My mom was the only person I could possibly decide on. Haha She had no idea that I was going to have a tattoo done for her. I kept telling her I was gonna get a dragon or some weird thing. When I came home from Eureka I wouldn't even let her see it or know what I got till I had it all cleaned and lotioned. She almost started crying when she finally saw the tattoo. She loves it.
