This is my first star of David. The question I get more than anything else is whether I'm Jewish, and I am not. I am, however, an ally to the Jews. Christians and Jews need to work together for the common good, because as Christians we have adopted millennia of Jewish heritage.
The rumor I've stuck with for the meaning behind the star of David is that it is the union of the trinity of man with the Trinity of God. That would mean one triangle represents man's mind, body and spirit, and the other triangle represents Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
